J and I had plans to go with friends to the Buckman School Art Show, have lunch in Portland, spend the late afternoon working in the yard, and end the day watching a high school performance of Zombie Prom.
Imagine our surprise when we got to Buckman and found that the Art Show is next weekend (?!). Luckily, it was a picture-perfect Spring day and the kids ran off to play on the playground while The Moms came up with Plan B: Saturday Market and some random PDX errands that J and I needed to run.
It was a luxuriously leisurely Very Good Day. The only thing I would’ve done differently is bring my camera; so many awesome shots missed. And I would’ve planned to see Zombie Prom a different day; we missed it because we didn’t get home until it was too late to make the 7p time.
